SDS Drill Bit Set Chisel for Concrete

Short Description:

Combined with a percussion drill, the Special Direct System (SDS) drill is capable of drilling hard materials such as reinforced concrete where no other drill can. The drill is held in the drill chuck by a special type of drill chuck called the Special Direct System (SDS). By easily inserting the bit into the chuck, the SDS system creates a stronger connection that won’t slip or wobble. When using an SDS hammer drill on reinforced concrete, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and wear appropriate safety equipment (e.g. goggles, gloves). This set includes a 6-piece set with 4 drill bits (5/32, 3/16, 1/4 and 3/8 inches), point chisel and flat chisel, and a storage case. Product Dimensions: 6.9 x 4 x 1.9 inches (LxWxH, case).

Rotary hammers equipped with SDS Plus handles can be used with them. SDS Impact Drill Bits are designed with self-centering carbide tips that are slotted to easily remove material from holes and prevent jamming or jamming when striking rebar or other reinforcement. Thanks to these grooves, debris is prevented from entering the hole during drilling, preventing the bit from clogging or overheating.

Due to its durability, this bit can be used on concrete and rebar. Carbide drill bits provide fast cuts and extended life under concrete and rebar. Diamond-ground carbide tips provide extra strength and reliability under high loads. A special hardening process and enhanced brazing ensure a long service life for the chisel.

In addition to drilling hard rock such as masonry, concrete, brick, cinder block, cement, and more, our SDS MAX hammer drill bits are compatible with Bosch, DEWALT, Hitachi, Hilti, Makita, and Milwaukee. When choosing the right drill for the job at hand, you should also make sure you're using the correct drill size, as the wrong drill can directly damage the drill.
