The most common and poorest steel is 45# steel, the average one is 4241# high-speed steel, and the better M2 is almost the same.

3. 6542 material: This material is suitable for drilling various metals, such as stainless steel, iron, copper, aluminum alloy and other medium and low hardness metals, as well as wood. Within the scope of application, the quality is medium to high and the durability is very high.
4. M35 cobalt-containing material: This material is the best-performing grade of high-speed steel currently on the market. The cobalt content ensures the hardness and toughness of high-speed steel. Suitable for drilling various metals, such as stainless steel, iron, copper, aluminum alloy, cast iron, 45# steel and other metals, as well as various soft materials such as wood and plastic.
The quality is high-end, and the durability is greater than any of the previous materials. If you decide to use 6542 material, it is recommended that you choose M35. The price is slightly higher than 6542, but it is definitely worth it.
